February 8 is National Girl Scout Cookie Day!

Today is National Girl Scout Cookie Day!! For the last couple of days, you have probably been hearing a lot about Girl Scout Cookies, especially this morning.   Well that is because TODAY has been declared National Girl Scout Cookie Day and it is our goal to let the world know that Girl Scout Cookies aren’t just yummy! GSNC’s 7 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Teams GSNC’s 7 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Teams Compete at the SBPLI, Inc. FIRST LEGO League Qualifier Tournament Who knew LEGOs could help change the world? Way cooler than a science class, LEGO Robotics gives girls the chance to understand, design and build their own fully-functioning robot.   On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Girl Scouts of Nassau County had 7 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams compete at the SBPLI, Inc. FIRST LEGO League Qualifier Tournament at Central Islip Senior High School.   As usual yesterday was a fun and exciting day at the tournament, with six of the seven GSNC teams moving on to the Championship Tournament in March. Friday, February 8 th , 2013 has been declared National Girl Scout Cookie Day ! Girl Scouts and Non-Girl Scouts alike can join in on the fun and festivities on National Girl Scout Cookie Day! Girl Scouts can c elebrate with us by hosting a Cookie Booth Sale, a Cookie Walkabout, or simply going door-to-door that day with your Girl Scout Cookie Order Form. Not a Girl Scout, well you can still participate in the day’s festivities. When Girl Scouts sell Girl Scout Cookies®, they are building practical life skills such as Goal Setting, Decision Making, Money Management, People Skills and Business Ethics.
