I get my troop excited for Girl Scout Cookie Season by brainstorming new ways we can get out to meet the public, whether it be the locations they would like to do a booth sale at, plan mini groups of door-to-door sales, and how they can host home booth set ups at their home. How does the troop set their goals for the season? We talk as a group about realistic goals, knowing the girls outside commitments with school and family life, we talk truth and abilities.  We even talk about sharing sales towards the end depending on how close a Girl Scout is to making a reward goal. Will you be my cookie valentine? With Valentine’s Day only a few days away, you’re probably wondering what to get your valentine. Well, with it being Girl Scout Cookie Season, we’re thinking about Valentine’s Day from a different perspective…. one that involves that tasty treat. Here are four ways to incorporate Girl Scout Cookies into your Valentine’s Day gift: 1.        Give the gift of cookies. Simply purchase a box or two or more of your valentine’s favorite Girl Scout Cookies, tie them up with a pretty bow and add a Girl Scout Cookie themed Valentine’s Day cards to your gift. 2.        Go DIY. As Girl Scouts, we always enjoy a good craft… so let’s get crafty. Make your own Valentine’s Day cards utilizing used Girl Scout Cookie Boxes.
