Cookie Business Badge Guide for Volunteers

By participating in the Girl Scout cookie program, girls learn to think like entrepreneurs, gain confidence, and hone in on their unique set of skills. To help them get there, troop leaders and cookie managers can utilize the hands-on activities built into the Cookie Business badges, available at every Girl Scout level! 

Use the following guide, to help you start the discussion with your Girl Scouts about what Cookie badge they want to earn during this year’s cookie program.

Daisies (K-1)

  • My First Cookie Business
    •  Find out how to sell cookies and get your customers excited for cookie season. 
  • Cookie Goal Setter
    • Decide how you will use your money, set goals, and share them with real customers.  

Brownies (2-3)

  • My Cookie Customers
    • Find out how to get new customers and keep them coming back.
  • Cookie Decision Maker
    • Think like an entrepreneur by making decisions for your cookie business.

Juniors (4-5)

  • My Cookie Team
    • Bring your different skills and ideas together to meet your goals.
  • Cookie Collaborator
    • Collaborate with your troop, community, and network to grow your cookie business.

Cadettes (6-8)

  • My Cookie Venture
    • Expand your knowledge of business resources and customers and create a business plan.
  • Cookie Market Researcher
    • Explore your customers’ experience to reach more people and expand your business.
  • Cookie Innovator
    • Create bigger goals for your cookie business and find unique ways to connect with customers.

Seniors (9-10)

  • My Cookie Network
    • Use your network to strengthen your customer base and take your business to the next level.
  • Cookie Boss
    • Lead with confidence as you become the boss of your cookie business.

Ambassadors (11-12)

  • My Cookie Business Resume
    • Showcase your cookie business accomplishments in a resume and portfolio.
  • Cookie Influencer
    • Become an authority on your cookie business and find new ways to make a big impact.


Looking for a visual? Print out a summary and image of each badge with the Badge and Award Explorer! Just filter your Girl Scouts’ grade level and check off the topic “Entrepreneurship.”


For the full requirements and hand-on activities, you can either purchase the badge booklets for each badge or access them for free as a registered Girl Scout volunteer on the Volunteer Toolkit
