Troop Click: Troop 3305

Junior Troop 3305 was very busy this summer! They went to the Montauk Lighthouse to earn Girl Scouts of Suffolk County’s Lighthouse Badge. “Our historian Henry was extremely informative. The girls learned all about the history of light houses, and even got to hear the automated fog horn because it was foggy that day!”

Next, the Troop took a trip to Safety Town to help earn part of their Junior Safety Award pin on bicycle safety. The girls had a great time!

So, when we were challenged to make a sit-upon, we decided to do what Girl Scouts do and use our resources wisely... so, we used some items that we had on hand. How are others affected but this issue? How are they working to solve this problem? Making sure that we have achieved the global component of our Gold Award is important, but it is often the most neglected piece our project. So, how do you make sure that you haven’t overlooked this key element? First, let’s take a look at the definition of National/Global Link .
